The company, with registered head office located in Murcia, Spain, is engaged in the trade of phytosanitary and pharmaceutical products. It was founded in 1970 by Mr Antonio Belmonte Abellán, who already had wide experience working as a distributor for multinational companies in the sector. Since then, the company has grown incredibly through the enterprising spirit and skills that characterize the Belmontes. The company is the national market leader with the highest turnover and widest range of products. The company is currently comprised of four phytosanitary companies, including Probelte S.A., Tomcato S.A., Eurochem S.A. and Frutos Abelte S.A., as well as one pharmaceutical company, Probelte Pharma S.A., which is engaged in the formulation of customized anti-allergy vaccines.
